New Poem “Her Love is Mine”

Her Love is Mine

I looked into her eyes
GlancIing into her future
Revealing the secrets
She kept inside

For so many years
We were both afraid
Avoiding each other
Till you were mine

My head resting in your arms,
My body weak
My vision blurred and fading slowly
This was a battle I could never win inside.

As this darkness consumes me
Light fills my eyes.
I am proud to have lost my fears
And have you in my life.
